We have many thrift stores here in town. I’m not saying I’m an expert, but I am quite experienced in the area of thrift shopping here in town.

I would suggest checking out the local thrift stores before you purchase an item such as this brand new. You can save huge percentages by shopping at thrift stores!

Thrift store shopping can be an adventure! If you enter the store with an open mind and attentive eyes, you never know what you’ll come across! Some days, you’ll find many things that you want to buy, other days you may leave empty handed. There is a sense of accomplishment that comes with buying from a thrift store. Not only do you leave happy with your purchases, but you leave excited at the prices you got them at! One day, I stopped in to a thrift store with my friend and she found an Armani dress that fit her perfectly for only $5.00! The tag was still on it, it was worth $800.00! That is just one of the many successes We have had at thrift stores around town.

The Clothes Less Traveled is probably the most well known thrift store here in Peachtree City. Every time I go thrift shopping, I make sure to stop by here because they have a huge selection of many different types of things. They are very organized and it is easy to find whatever you’re looking for here! The only downside of this thrift store is it is a bit pricier than others in town (but still not too bad seeing as it is a thrift store).

My favorite thing to look at in The Clothes Less Traveled is the sporting equipment and furniture. It always seems that I can find some rare piece of sport equipment I’ve never seen before or never expected to be at a thrift store. I love checking out the furniture because every time I go, there is new furniture!

Better Way Bargains

-This thrift store is part of A Better Way Ministries. The Mission of the Better Way is to help men ages 17-55 that struggle with substance abuse and other life controlling addictions. The Better Way Ministries provide these men with work and help them learn to look to Christ for help with their trials instead of reverting to their old habits and addictions. The Better Way has a couple businesses. These incude a sign shop, moving company, thrift store, cafe, and auto resale.

My favorite things to look for in this thrift store are kitchenware and decorations. I have found a lot of adorable things here. The trick is to look at each item individually. Looking at a whole shelf can be overwhelming, so take time to consider each item you see so you can visualize it in your home or closet!

-Linda’s Attic is a much smaller thrift store on the border of Peachtree City and Fayetteville. I haven’t been here as much, so I don’t have much experience with it.
