Austin is a 40 lbs Hound/Anatolian Shepherd mix and about one year old. When you meet him you would never guess what a rough start he had. He charms everybody he meets with his outgoing and happy personality. He has a great attitude!

His former owner not only moved away and left him chained up in the back yard, but he also had an untreated leg injury which left his right front leg paralyzed and infected. He needed immediate surgery to amputate his leg. Now he is doing great and is on the best way to recovery. Having only three legs doesn’t slow him down a bit. What he needs now is to find his best buddy to play ball, go on car rides (he loves car rides) and to hang out with forever and always!
