Peachtree City has consolidated its diverse event listings into a central online calendar, offering residents and visitors a single point of access for city-sponsored activities. The official city website, peachtree-city.org, now features a dedicated Events Calendar page that aggregates information from various departments.
The primary hub, found at peachtree-city.org/1680/Events-Calendar, organizes events into key categories. These include programming from the Recreation & Special Events Division, library events, and scheduled government meetings. A calendar widget on the main city homepage also provides a snapshot of upcoming items, with some government meetings noted as canceled in recent updates.
For those seeking visitor-oriented festivals and events, the tourism site, visitpeachtreecity.com/events/, offers a curated selection. Peachtree City, incorporated in 1959 as Georgia’s first planned community, has long emphasized recreation and quality of life, with its Recreation & Special Events division managing numerous programs, classes, and over 50 special events annually.

These include popular events like Food Truck Thursdays, summer reading programs at the library, concerts, farmers markets held on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and seasonal festivals. The division also maintains an online catalog for program registrations and issues quarterly updates on its offerings.
