Peachtree City is inviting residents to a "Slice of the City" community open house. The event will be held at the library, providing an opportunity for citizens to engage directly with city officials and learn about ongoing initiatives.
The announcement was made via the city's official X account, @ptcgovernment, which serves as a primary channel for local government news, events, and service alerts. This open house is part of the city's effort to maintain open communication with its residents.
Peachtree City, a master-planned community located approximately 25 miles south of Atlanta, is recognized for its extensive network of golf cart paths, with an estimated 10,000 golf carts in use, and its abundant natural, wooded beauty. The @ptcgovernment account also recently shared updates on temporary City Hall parking lot closures for paving and highlighted a bike-rack purchase program for local businesses.
Why it matters — The open house offers residents a direct avenue to engage with city government and stay informed about local developments.
