  9. Rebecca Watts on April 7, 2014 at 11:04 pm

1 bunch (1-2 lbs?)broccoli florets OR 1 head of cauliflower
3 pears OR 3 avocados (unsure of equivalencies price-wise)
1 qt strawberries (is that a pound?)
    3-4 sweet potatoes
    2 lbs bananas
1 bag of spinach OR salad mix

Feedback on the two baskets we’ve gotten so far: not so keen on the Asian pears — never had them before this last basket and they are okay but just not my favorite; 2 bags of grapes was too many for us; though we’ve not bought iceberg lettuce ourselves for years, I’ve enjoyed the salad mix that was in each of the baskets we’ve gotten (we normally go for a darker green lettuce, such as the romaine others have mentioned); and though I thought we’d never manage to polish off the 3 lbs of bananas, we did okay since they were green when we got them and they lasted awhile. Overall, enjoying opening the door to a basket of fresh food on Saturday mornings.

Would love to see a combination of avocados, strawberries, bananas, spinach, tomatoes or cucumbers. Sorry, I have no idea on the lbs. Whatever combination keeps it under the $25 mark.
    Thanks!
