Hi there,
I’ve been enjoying your produce baskets for a couple of months now. I’d like to make a suggestion for another part of your website.
You have a page “What County is Peachtree City GA In?” that uses a picture of the Peachtree City Library. However, you give no information at all (that I could discover) about the library itself (not even naming that it’s a picture of the library, unless I’m mistaken).
Also, your number 3 under that page might want to say WHEN the city was founded: 1959. “Peachtree City was founded in 1959, and as late as 1975 had a population well under 5000.”
Also, perhaps number 6 could say that there are over 10,000 registered golf carts in the city (rather than most residents own a golf cart).
Here are just a few facts about the library:
Peachtree City Library is a member of the PINES consortium of Georgia libraries, which includes 53 regional libraries across the state of Georgia.
Open 7 days a week, they are one of the busiest libraries in the consortium.
Library cards are free to Georgia residents.
The library has free WiFi access as well as Internet computers available for the public to use. There are nearly 100,000 items in the library including books, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, and magazines available for borrowing.
The library is located next door to City Hall.
Call 770-631-2520 for more information or visit their website at
http://www.peachtree-city.org/library
You can also purchase a print version of the Peachtree City map ($2)–even on weekends! (As well as a copy of the book “Peachtree City”, an Images of America book published in 2009 as the city was turning 50 years old.)
Thanks!
