Golf Carts. We Love Them and You Will Too!
If you move to Peachtree City, you will be tempted to purchase a golf cart. Why? Well, for starters, we have 90 miles of paths for golf carts, bikes, runners, and walkers to use. These paved paths wind throughout the entire city through neighborhoods and the woods. They lead to almost anywhere you need to go! It can be difficult to find your way around when you first move here, so here is a helpful
golf cart map. Soon, you’ll know these paths just as well as a local. There are also convenient maps located throughout the network of paths that can help you if you are lost.
Pictured above is a close up view of one of the Peachtree City golf cart maps.
These two maps are located on Kelly Drive and Flat Creek Road.
The residents here use golf carts so regularly, there are golf cart parking spaces located in almost every shopping center. The police department has police to patrol the paths on four wheelers!

Many people move to Peachtree City from surrounding areas simply because they know that the school system is incredible. Check out the testimonials below to see how local residents like the schools here in Fayette County.
"I have enjoyed having my kids attend Huddleston Elementary for the past several years, mostly because the teachers are so great. They really care about teaching the children and helping them to be successful in school. We are also fortunate to have the support of parents who want to see their children do well and want to see the school thrive. Huddleston has been and hopefully will continue to be our school of choice."-Jennifer

We have three beautiful lakes and one pond in Peachtree City.
Lake Peachtree is currently under maintenance, but when it is full, residents can swim and boat on the lake. Residents who live in a certain area have access to use the lake with gas powered boats.
Lake Kedron is a reservoir in PTC where fishing and boating is allowed, but no swimming or skiing. No gas powered boats are allowed in this lake. This lake is about 235 acres and provides water for Fayette County.
Lake McIntosh is the newest and biggest lake. It is 650 acres. Just like Lake Kedron, there is no swimming, skiing, or scuba diving, but boating, canoeing, and fishing are welcome! There is a beautiful new dock, park, and picnic area available for Fayette County citizens.
Villages and Shopping Centers
Peachtree City was designed to be a series of Villages. The villages are Aberdeen, Braelinn, Glenloch, Kedron, Wilksmoor, and Industrial.
