Our client had soffit problems near her front door entrance. These were taken care of with new soffit but the water continued to leak through when it rained. She needed the main problem fixed, which was the roof directly above the area where water was coming in. In order to fix her roof, we bid to replace the shingles in the valley directly above the soffit that had failed. We also bid to replace a damaged pipe boot.

Pipe Boot Replacement and Shingle Repair Repair

We first pulled up the old shingles in the valley, being careful to not damage the surrounding shingles that we would have to neatly tie back into later. We also pulled out the old felt paper and nails, then laid down ice and water shield underlayment as a new felt paper. Once the ice and water shield was installed, we tied in the new matching shingles.

Changing out the leaky PVC pipe boot was quick and easy. We had the necessary equipment to replace the vent pipe boot, so we changed it out for her while we were up.
