Peachtree City was not left out of the snow storm. On January 28, 2014 at around 11 a.m. it began to snow and didn't stop until late that night. As a result, life sat still as most huddled inside to wait for the snow to melt and streets to clear up.

For many, it was just a fun filled snow day but for others who were trying to make the commute from Atlanta back to Peachtree City it turned out to be much different. In fact, for a lot of those people who worked in Atlanta on January 28 they ended up staying the night in Atlanta or somewhere along the road, on the road (in their car), or in a nearby hotel on route to Peachtree City.
