It has been almost two years since the shocking home invasion on Friday the 13th of July 2012 in Peachtree City. On this day two cousins (Ted Andrew Jefferson & Gilbert Jefferson) entered CeCe Coffee’s Peachtree City residence with shotguns in hand. Soon after invading the home through an unlocked door they held CeCe at gunpoint demanding that she hand over a large sum of money that they assumed she had in her home.

Shortly after the break in and demand at gunpoint another victim entered the seen. The man was already in the home in an adjacent bedroom. It was at this time when he heard the commotion that he came out. Upon noticing his presence the gun switched hands and forced the male victim to the ground. It was at this time that CeCe ran to escape and was shot at and hit in the head with the shotgun. Fortunately she wasn't mortally wounded and made it to a neighbors house to call for help.

What Was The Conviction?

Ted Andrew Jefferson was found guilty of two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of armed robbery and one count each of burglary, possession of a firearm during the a crime and kidnapping with bodily injury. The final sentence from Ted Jefferson has been delayed until the middle of April. However, the sentencing is expected to be severe.

Gilbert Jefferson admitted that he was guilty of invading CeCe's home. Gilbert testified against Ted as being the person who showed at and hit CeCe Coffee on that friday night as she made an attempt to flee from her captors. Gilbert's was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Chris Falkner was also involved in the crime. Chris Falkner was tagged as the drug dealer that Ted owed money too. His case was finished last year with a guilty verdict and a 10-year probation sentence with no prison time.
